Our Commitment to
New Patients
Bobcat Dental is prepared to earn the trust and respect of your
entire family. Our goal is to make going to the dentist a pleasant
experience from the first smile at the front desk to the last
bit of paperwork. We specialize in making your family’s smiles
as healthy and affordable as possible, now and for the future.

Typical New Patient Questions
What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept any insurance that allows patients to go to any dentist
they choose. Bobcat Dental is proud to be an in-network
provider for Celina ISD, as well as a number of plans
including Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Delta Dental and
United Concordia. Please call
Bobcat Dental for
our most current in-network designations. The only insurance
plans we do not accept are those in which you are assigned to
a particular doctor or dental clinic. Those are considered DMO
programs, and Bobcat Dental does not participate.
What if I’m uninsured?
Even with our patients who do not have dental insurance, our
fees are generally affordable and less than the average of other
area practices. We are sensitive to our patients’ financial
constraints as well as their dental needs, and we will be happy
to work with you to recommend a plan of action for your care.
We are also now offering the Community Dental Plan, an annual subscription for people that
don't have dental insurance. This may be a great value for you and your family. Learn more about the Community Dental Plan from Bobcat Dental.
You may also find FlexChex90 as a reasonable payment option to help spread out the costs. You can get the services you need today, but you can pay over 90 days. Ask our staff about more information about FlexChex90 and its requirements.
How long does a normal check-up and cleaning take?
A normal check-up, X-rays and cleaning takes only one hour for
patients age 14 and older. For those 13 and under, appointments
typically take 30 minutes.
What other kinds of services do you offer?
Since we specialize in both family and cosmetic dentistry, Bobcat
Dental is a bit like one-stop shopping. We can schedule parents
and children at the same time, which makes things easier for
busy families. We also have alliances with dentists who have
decades of experience performing such procedures as root canals
and wisdom tooth extractions—so there’s no need to travel
to a different location for these procedures. Check our Services section
for a more complete list of our offerings.
Can I make an appointment for a time or day you’re not normally
open?
Appointments outside of our normal business
hours are offered on an emergency basis only.
I’m anxious about going to the dentist.
What can you do to help?
First, we’ll listen to you to find out what you dislike about
coming to the dentist. Once we know what triggers your anxiety,
we can offer various options designed to make the experience
more comfortable for you. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is often
helpful during cleanings or other routine treatments. We also
offer sedation (sleep) dentistry, which involves a small dose
of medication prior to treatment. This allows patients to basically
sleep through the appointment, without experiencing fear or anxiety.
If your anxiety is based on financial circumstances rather than
fear, we also offer programs that can help. We can also work
with you to spread out your services to make the most of your
insurance benefits.
Do you require payment at the time of service?
We file insurance on all services rendered for our patients.
If your service is covered at 100 percent, you will not incur
a charge. If your visit involves a treatment that is not completely
covered, we require payment of your part in full upon completion
of the service—whether it takes only one visit or several.
What type of financing options do you offer?
Most of our patients qualify for CareCredit—a third-party credit
option that gives patients the flexibility to borrow the money
they need to have their dental work done, then repay it over
12 months at no interest. Learn more at carecredit.com.
You may also look into our exclusive Community Dental Plan if you don’t have dental insurance. Or you may prefer to use the FlexChex90 system and get your services today, but pay over 90 days. Talk to our staff to determine which is best for you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept CareCredit, cash, check (no temporary checks), American
Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard (including debit cards
linked to health savings accounts).
Can I get a quote before we do any major work?
Upon examination of any dental problems, Bobcat Dental will provide
a full treatment plan with recommended services listed
in order of priority. The treatment plan will show the total
cost—and if you have any insurance benefits, we can estimate
how much you will likely pay out of pocket. We do also explain
that these figures are estimates, not necessarily final charges,
and are subject to your insurance company's final decision. Community Dental Plan subscribers will get a 15% discount on ALL dental work.
